Dr. Tristan Long received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2009, a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in 2011, and a Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University in 2013.
He has externed at Eye Surgeons of Indiana, River Valley Eye Professionals of Northfield Minnesota, and the Indianapolis and Indiana University Eye Care Centers. He also has experience at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana with stroke victims and otherwise neurologically complicated patients. He worked as an Assistant Instructor in Low Vision where he taught theory, application, and testing of persons with visual impairments. He also worked as a Research Assistant in the Adaptive Optics Imaging Lab.
Dr. Tristan joined the Milton and Edgerton Vision Centers in 2013 and brought with him a wide range of eye care interests. He particularly enjoys pediatrics, low vision, dry eye management, and diabetic eye disease management. Dr. Tristan is a member of the American Optometric Association and the American Diabetes Association. Outside of work, Dr. Tristan enjoys Geocaching, playing cards, and gardening with his wife, Dr. Jayme.
